Apparently paper towel + Windex is a no-no on the subject of cleansing your laptop or television's LCD screen. Apple's official tips for correct cleaning are as follows:
   1. Flip off the computer or display. You may want to turn off the pc with the intention to flip off some Apple displays.
   2. Dampen a clean, tender, lint-free fabric or paper with water only.
   3. Wipe the screen. Do not spray liquid straight on the screen.
Straightforward enough. BUT, if you happen to discover you're out of paper towels and do not want to splurge on a particular lint-free fabric, coffee filters will do the trick, as well.
